Faith demands that we stick to what we are taught not what we feel

Standing Your Business on The Bible

Doing everything in our own strength is bad for our health. If we accept that God has got a plan for us and if we follow his plan and don't deviate then the chances are that things will go well. The trouble is we don't do it; we go full steam ahead into something without really knowing if it's best for us.

Check out this strategy to build your faith and your business...

Scriptures for Business Success

If you have ever asked for guidance from the Holy Spirit you will know that He will give you a sense of peace if what you're about to do is in line with God's will.

The verses below are meant to be said out loud, not only for speaking in to being (Romans 4:17) what God has planned for you (Jeremiah 29:11), but also to help you memorise scripture (Joshua 1:8) – so when you come up against opposition, you know how to counter problems as they arise.

A Business Strategy

We are called to be obedient. But are we? Probably not, which is why we have The Lord's Prayer. Start off each day with this prayer and once you understand what it means, in your heart, you'll understand why it is so short.

God doesn't need or expect long flamboyant prayers; he just wants to know that you love and respect him and that you are trying to be the person he wants you to be, i.e. turning away from sin. But don't fret, we all sin, that's why we have been given such a short prayer, found in Matthew 6:9.

Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us today the food we need,
and forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
And don't let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one.

Stand on The Word – Confess with your mouth which means SAY IT OUT LOUD.

We are told in the Bible, in Joshua 1:7-8, "Be strong and very courageous. Carefully obey all the law my servant Moses charged you to keep! Do not swerve from it to the right or to the left, so that you may be successful in all you do. This book of the Law must not leave your lips! You must memorise it day and night so you can carefully obey all that is written in it. Then you will prosper and be successful.

Path to Salvation

Because Jesus died on the cross and rose again, he paved a way for you so that you can be forgiven of all the things you have done wrong, and that you find the true meaning of life. Since you have lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, etc., you have violated God’s law, which will result in punishment. But the good news is that God loves you and that He doesn’t want you to be condemned to hell, therefore He sent His son Jesus to take your punishment.

If you turn away from your transgressions and accept this forgiveness through baptism under water you will then receive the Holy Spirit with the sign of speaking in tongues. This means that sin, which separates you from God, will disappear and you will, by the Holy Spirit, experience a living relationship with God, as we read in the Bible.

A supernatural relationship starts here and continues in heaven. The only way to heaven is through Jesus, which you can accept today.
