In a world where faith and spirituality are ridiculed, even by some Christians, it’s not surprising that the West appears to be doing nothing about the atrocities in the Middle East.
From where I’m standing, it all seems pretty clear to me. Our world has become so self-serving that it has dispensed with all this God stuff and continues with the self-styled order that allows anyone and everyone to reject the past – even if it was right and even if it foretold our future.
Try as we may to police our world, we continue to fail because we’re not fighting ‘fire-with-fire’ and I’m not talking about bombing! Politicians and world governments have failed in their attempts to explain away the Middle East or totally deny certain events like President Obama refusing to call the twenty one Coptic men killed in Libya “Christians”.
The answer is so difficult for people and Governments to accept that they reject it out-of-hand, because the reason being is, “You cannot fight a spiritual war with physical artillery”. Bear with me and take a quick read of the information below.
To begin with as Christians, we are told to:
In addition we are told to:
You could say, “Well, that’s easy for you because you’re a Christian”. Wrong! There is no way that any normal, intelligent person would behave towards something or someone they have never actually seen and behave towards that “entity” with greater love and affection or reverence or whatever you want to call it than they would their own wife, husband, boyfriend or girlfriend. Unless…
Unless there was something beyond comprehension! Something that would compel that person to do a complete about-face and live and behave in such a way that would indicate that this “God” thing was completely real.
How does someone go from the rational to the seemingly irrational? Two things, firstly an inexplicable supernatural encounter with Jesus and secondly making the effort to come to know this person called Jesus.
Don’t worry, I haven’t gone “off-the-subject” of the Middle East!
If you want to find out about someone before a meeting, you go on line, do a search on Google, LinkedIn, Facebook or where ever you think you should look and you’d check them out, like most recruitment agencies!
Getting to know God is exactly the same; there’s the Internet, there’s the Bible, there are churches and of course there are Christians.
Listening to “hearsay” about someone is not admissible as ‘evidence’ so-to-speak; therefore we need to see what there is in writing! That is why it is imperative to read the Bible. Because the Bible is The Truth (and it’s also the method God uses to speak to us direct, but that’s for another article) yet it has been rejected by our Governments who say that Church and State must remain separate!
So, unless you have read the Bible, cover to cover and fully understand the “big picture” AND have a relationship with God and genuinely “believe”, you’re never going to really know how to discuss or present a case about the Middle East.
Most wars are about one religion fighting another in one guise or another. As a result people have tried to separate church and state and demonstrate and rail against religions making it an excuse to block out or simply ignore anything to do with it.
So here’s the thing. If man created religion, then why doesn’t man eradicate it completely! Surely every country could outlaw it? But we know it’s not as simple as that.
The world is now pretty much divided in to two camps; Christians and Jews on one side and Muslims on the other.
Allah, the god of Islam has its origins from the Canaanite god of the moon dating back to the time of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael. Jumping forward, Muslims are told 145 times in the Qur’an to kill Christians and Jews. Anyone else who doesn’t convert to Islam will be executed too. Irrespective of all the current Arab in-fighting, which is only a power-play for the time being, the Islamic world believe in world domination that will usher in the Ummah (a world order of Islam), governed by the Sharia, the moral code and law of Islam.
The God of the Christians and Jews is not the same as that of Muslims. The God of The Bible and The Torah is the exact same God. The main difference is that Jews disagree about Jesus being the Messiah and Son of God. However, both Christians and Jews want to live harmoniously not only with each other but also with those around them.
So on the face of it we have two camps or two powers, one aggressive and one not.
The Bible (New & Old Testament) and Torah (Old Testament) explains to Jews and Christians that they will be attacked by an enemy, who is called satan. And the Qur’an tells its followers to kill the Christians and Jews and also anyone else who won’t convert to Islam.
Can you see a pattern emerging here? It is certainly not an explanation that our political leaders want to bring up because, going back to what I said earlier, it is de rigueur to rail against “The Church and religion”.
By reading the Bible, you will know that there are two Testaments. Two covenants. A quick explanation; In the Old Covenant, the Old Testament, Adam was given dominion (power and authority) over all the earth. He then gave it to satan because he ate the fruit. In the New Testament, Jesus came to take back satan’s power and authority and give it to us. We now have the ability to defeat satan as born again Christians and therefore you could say that we’re in training on the earth before transitioning in to eternity in heaven for something far greater than we could ever imagine.
The important part of this explanation is that satan was not killed. I believe that there must be some eternal laws that precludes satan from be killed! Although satan still has dominion on the earth we have been given ability (power and authority) to keep him and his demons at bay. This is an ongoing process and is what’s called living a victorious life!
As Christians, we know that we have to read the Bible as it helps maintain our “connectivity” to God and enables us to renew our minds and understand what plans God has for us, but this can only happen if we’re open and receptive.
To become a Christian you have say a statement of faith; you have to believe in your heart and say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord of your life (Acts 8:37) and you repent, asking for your sins to be forgiven and for Jesus to come in to your heart. Then you are to get baptised in water (John 3:1-21) and then baptised in the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9).
Islam has the Shahada; again this is a set of words that people who are about to convert to Islam must say and once this has been repeated “out loud”, that person becomes a Muslim.
So, both sides must “say” something in order to become a follower. Christians have always known the power of prayer (a least I hope they do!), but nowadays it doesn’t seem to be a regular corporate activity. As the Proverbs 18:22 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” and it’s not only Christians and Jews who believe this.
Muslims also believe in spoken prayers and make a point of corporate prayer as they are called to pray five times a day and the call to prayer on a Friday is always quite a busy time around mosques.
In addition, the Al-Fatihah prayer is as central to Islamic devotion as the Lord’s Prayer is to Christians: It is recited at least 17 times a day as part of daily Muslim prayers. Yet according to Muhammad himself, this prayer, which is on the lips of every pious Muslim day and night, castigates Christians as misguided and Jews as objects of Allah’s wrath.
As a result of their approach to prayer and their laws surrounding apostasy it is very difficult for Muslims to leave their religion/ideology. And their determination to their prayers are creating their caliphate in the Middle East and they are continuing to infiltrate the rest of the world with a view to establishing Islam and Sharia Law – so go figure!
The recent press presents a case in the UK and USA that says that President Obama and other western leaders are either inept or cowards when it comes to Islam. I believe that they are neither!
When the Press pipes up and says for example that President Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing or doesn’t know “his” enemy, I totally disagree! I believe he knows exactly what he’s doing and he’s making sure that he doesn’t say anything that will inhibit the progress of what is occurring in the Middle East.
ISIS may be the bully boys of the Qur’an and follow it to the letter, but President Obama along with the Muslim Brotherhood and President Erdogan all have the same goal in mind, a caliphate and a future “position”.
Think about it. Jesus comes to earth and defeats satan and then leaves. What do you think satan’s going to do, sit around sulking? No, he waits until he can come up with a plan to cause the most amount of grief on the planet by attacking the people of The Book, i.e. Jews and Christians. And don’t forget, it’s the born again Christians who have been given the “power” so it stands to reason to try and wipe them out.
So, starting in 624 BCE or AD he unleashes his plan by influencing a man called Muhammad and creates a movement called Islam. In Muhammed’s first few years starting in 613 AD when he was supposed to have had his first revelation he could only attract a handful of followers. When he began to introduce extreme violence in 624 he attracts over 10,000 followers in a matter of a few years. Over the next 1400 years Islam grows to a point where it stands in direct opposition to Jews and Christians with 1.5bn followers. How Muslims behave towards women, children and other human beings is indicative of satans contempt for man, whom God made “higher than the angels” (1 Corinthians 6:3). How this plays out from now on is explained in the Book of Revelation.
Depending on the statistics you read, in 1400 years Islam has murdered between 270 million and 590 million people.
The term left and right wing politics was coined in France at the time of the French revolution. In the latter half of the 20th century this political mentality/ideology describes those who embrace what’s called ‘multi-culturalism’ (amongst other things). Multi-culturalism has created a mechanism that allows a steady flow of immigrants in to the UK and other countries. Ordinarily this would not be a problem; however it has allowed a significant number of Muslims in to certain countries whereby the governments have agreed to not force the immigrants to integrate in to their societies.
Andrew Neather, former Labour adviser and speech writer for Tony Blair claimed in a column for the London Evening Standard that “Labours relaxation of immigration controls was a deliberate attempt to engineer a ‘truly multicultural’ country and plug gaps in the jobs market”.
He remembered ‘coming away from some discussions with the clear sense that the policy was intended – even if this wasn’t its main purpose – to rub the Right’s nose in diversity’.
In another report published in part on www.telegraph.co.uk about the number of Muslim children doubling in a decade, it says that Muslims are around twice as likely to be unemployed or homeless and almost a third of members of some communities have little or no English – a trait most marked among older people and new arrivals.
The report warns against “alarmist” interpretations of the rise (in children numbers) adding: “A section of the society comprising one in 20 of persons in the overall population can hardly ‘take over’.”
It is a well know fact that Mumar Gadaffi said that Muslims will take over Europe without firing a single a shot being fired because of their forced birth rate.
Already ghetto type environments have been created in the UK, France, Denmark, Sweden and Finland where Sharia law is being enforced. Governments have also introduced Sharia law in to financial institutions as the UK did some years ago.
What will be the next stage?
A combination of left-wing policies and financial greed has not only softened our ideological stance as a nation but has pushed political correctness to a point that we’re being “hung on our own petard”.
Successive governments have dismissed faith in God because they think they’re bigger and better. Most politicians are the least humble and most arrogant when it comes to faith and think they can pay lip-service to God who can be kept in a box and only choose to open it when they need some votes.
In addition, successive governments have known about the threat of Islam on the rest of the World, even Churchill wrote about it in his book The War River, published in 1900. Historians and public figures have all known but have chosen not just to ignore it but actually embrace it for financial or political short-term gain. Today, if they admit the rise of Islam on their turf then the voting public will end up voting in Right Wing politicians which scuppers their chances of being re-elected.
Church leaders have sold-out too. Sermons that fail to explain, sermons that keep people in their place and Church mechanisms that put more emphasis on having a good time than actually teaching the importance Bible and how it impacts the “big picture” of our world. As a nation we need to do a complete about-face. And in the biblical sense that means repentance.
As Christians we have a duty to learn and attempt to understand the Bible. It’s not complicated but there is inevitability to it. There is a beginning and an end.
Many would agree with me that we’re living in what is called “End Times”. That means that the prophecies in the Bible detailed in the Book of Revelation are coming true. From the Blood Red Moon prophecies in the Book of Joel (we are experiencing a tetrad, i.e. four blood moons, all of which occur on Jewish festivals on 15.04.14, 08.10.14, 04.04.15, 28.09.15) to the decapitated heads of the Martyrs in Revelation 20:4 (The twenty one Coptic Christian men beheaded by ISIS in Libya on 16.02.15).
All this points to the culmination of life on earth as we know it, but we don’t know the exact dates when this will happen.
Muslims certainly believe that they are working towards Armageddon that will usher in the “Medhi” which is their End Time prophet.
What we do know though, is that we’re in a battle. In part it is physical with bombs and bullets, but also, it is the most significantly spiritual battle we have ever encountered. But as I said earlier, no one wants to talk about it!
God wants us to “wake up”, he wants us for eternity and satan most definitely wants us dead. No matter what transpires, satan is the father of lies, he kills, steals and destroys (John 10:10).
There are changes happening in the Muslim world that are also quite spectacular. David Garrison writes in his new book, “A Wind in the House of Islam”. More Muslims have turned to Jesus in the thirty years than in the previous 1400 year.
Our world is most definitely changing before our eyes!
Remember this, everything from God is good!!! Everything form satan is bad. He’ll con you, convince you black is white, persuade you with anything he can to get you to follow him and do his bidding. He wants you to ignore this article, to dismiss God and to dismiss faith in Christ.
You have always had a choice; Jesus has always got his arms open wide waiting for you to come to him. But it’s your choice. He won’t force you. You might not even know why you feel compelled to go to him in the first place, but like me, go anyway.
I read a quote on Facebook that said, “I would rather live believing in God and following Jesus and die realising it was all fiction, than living and ignoring God, then die realising I was wrong!” It’s an interesting quote if it relates to someone who is about to make the first step, but for me and my house, we know otherwise and know that it’s real. My family cannot go back or deny our faith because too much amazing stuff has happened that cannot be explained away as simply coincidence.
I urge you to join this “training” program called Christianity that follows Jesus as our Commander-in-Chief. In real terms, you life depends on it, both now and for eternity.
We’re in a spiritual battle that is being ignored and or dismissed by our leaders who are attempting to explain away the behaviour of terrorists as simply being “extreme”. Muslims are dancing to the tune of satan who is gaining ground because many have been deceived in to believing that they don’t need God, Jesus or the Bible.
I believe that Islam should be banned in the UK as it is not a religion but an ideology, a cult. Anyone wishing to live in the UK must adapt to our Judeo-Christian way of life and moral code. We must pray for our leaders that they will turn to God for guidance and repent of their previous conduct.
Whilst the inevitable will transpire as it is written in the Bible, we are to stand our ground in the name of Jesus and push back against all those who would deny his name. We are meant to be here, we're not a mistake. We are to live victoriously - AMEN ?
