The Advice We Need in Business has Already Been Written!

Wisdom for Business Through Proverbs

If like me, you have pretty much tried everything you can think of, there comes a time when doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result really is the definition of insanity (like Einstein was supposed to have said.)

James 1:4-6; If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you.  He will not rebuke you for asking

Here is my selection of Proverbs for Business...

Why the Church can’t mobilise Christians?

13 March 2017, Written by Nigel Maine, Posted in God, Faith & Miracles, Hits 341

what is really stopping Christians being the Christians they are supposed to be?

Why the Church can’t mobilise Christians?

If you have read any of my previous articles you'll know that my starting point is based upon us either leaning towards God or leaning towards Satan, however I accept that there are a multitude of reasons, attitudes and excuses why Christians find it hard to get mobilised at a grassroots level, i.e. the congregation actually doing activities en-masse.

Why does the Church Keep saying Jesus was Poor?

11 March 2017, Written by Nigel Maine, Posted in Business, Hits 383

If Jesus wasn't poor, what else have we got wrong about the bible?

Why does the Church Keep saying Jesus was Poor?

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

This statement is not referring to Jesus being poor.  In fact, he was a craftsman and small businessman before he started His Ministry.  Jesus became poor and took on the curse of poverty when He was crucified on the cross, so that we might become rich both financially and spiritually.  In 2 Corinthians 9:8 it says And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

It is time to take a different look at our environment to see what is affecting it

Why Do Things Go Wrong in Business?

You know the score; someone says something and another gets upset, a deal you've been waiting for goes to a competitor, staff don't do as they're told or there's a problem with the building, sometimes everything seems to be against you for no apparent reason.

In a nutshell, it's not supposed to be this way and, wait for it!!! we're 100% responsible to effect a change. If we wait for God to act, we'll be waiting a long time!

Why Dispute Britain is a Christian Country

11 March 2017, Written by Nigel Maine, Posted in God, Faith & Miracles, Hits 331

David Cameron said we were Christian, Tim Minchin and 54 Humanists Wrote to the Daily Telegraph trying to say we are not. You Decide!

Why Dispute Britain is a Christian Country

Britain is a Christian country, not only because our Queen is Christian but also because all of our laws and statutes are based upon the Bible.

Christian values were established first; they were written in stone for Moses! as stated in the Bible, therefore all moral values have been derived from the Bible. It is deceiving to say that Christian values could be distinct from human values.

But this media debate is ONLY about religion, NOT faith or the supernatural.  What do you think?
