Why Do Things Go Wrong in Business?

11 March 2017, Written by Nigel Maine, Posted in God, Faith & Miracles, Business, Hits 663

It is time to take a different look at our environment to see what is affecting it

Why Do Things Go Wrong in Business?

You know the score; someone says something and another gets upset, a deal you've been waiting for goes to a competitor, staff don't do as they're told or there's a problem with the building, sometimes everything seems to be against you for no apparent reason.

In a nutshell, it's not supposed to be this way and, wait for it!!! we're 100% responsible to effect a change. If we wait for God to act, we'll be waiting a long time!

Mention business and faith in the same sentence and the prosperity gospel quashes any support

Where does a business fit within Church and the Christian Faith?

My experience to date has been nothing short of total disbelief. How can the church say it supports it's congregations when they won't or can't minister to business people? or have they chased them all away?

Is it because life is simpler if the status quo is maintained (i.e. the pseudo poverty mentality of the organised church) and business people can just pick up their faith like anyone else.

When It Comes to our Finances are we giving to God or the Church?

When there is so much poor teaching about money it is often difficult to know what to do, so most people do nothing!

When It Comes to our Finances are we giving to God or the Church?

Having been self employed since 1987, I can definitely say that I have chased money.  But I thought that's what everyone did, don't they?

The Devil wants us living in poverty and hankering after money! God wants us rich and living in abundance and hankering after Him.  Or put it another way, Satan wants us dead and God wants us for eternity, so what will you choose?

What does it mean to be a Christian Business Person?

Church is one thing, but in business does how we speak, think, plan, work, relate and respond the rest of the time line up with our faith and relationship with God?

What does it mean to be a Christian Business Person?

This subject is a perennial issue. I must admit it can be easy to go in to autopilot mode when walking through the office doors or even thinking about our companies.

There are so many questions buzzing around my head, especially as I want to do the right thing, but I don't want to step outside of God's will for me and my business but as a Christian how am I viewed by people on the outside looking in – i.e. Christians and non-Christian alike?

Forty verses to review if times get tough in business: Trust in God & Prayer

Top 40 Encouraging Scriptures for Business

It can be difficult to know where to turn when times get difficult.  Whether it's about income, staff, a business issue or family.  However, we are told to pray for a reason, because it works!

Trust in the Lord because He is faithful and will provide for all your needs and He is always listening out for our prayers (Acts 9:11).  But PLEASE DON'T FORGET, YOU MUST SAY THEM OUT LOUD.

Psalm 31:24
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.
