Why do Bad Things happen to Us and Our Businesses?

Recognising the influence of Satan | Evil | Iniquity in your Business

I have heard many comments that it is foolish to give credence or exposure to, or about, Satan. Since becoming a Christian I've experienced highs and lows like everybody else, however, it has become apparent that so little is ever mentioned about the devil, Satan, Lucifer or evil for that matter.

I'm not going to launch into some rant, however just looking at the basics; we live in a fallen world, made so by the lies and deception of Satan to Eve and Adam.  If we know our enemy, we increase the likelihood of winning.

Is it time to speak to God through spoken prayer?

Praying and Prayers for Business

One of the most underrated faith-based activities is prayer. Don't get me wrong the people who experience answered prayer are wholly committed to it, but for your average businessman or woman, turning to prayer is invariably a last resort, when it's too late!

The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests - Matt 8:20

Jesus was not poor, so why does the Church say He was?

When discussing if Jesus’ was poor prior to and during his ministry, the immediate response I have received over the past five years is as follows:

The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has no where to lay his head - Matthew 8:20

I came across the information below which seems to make complete sense; however, I am confused as to why so many Church leaders quote the same Scripture yet view it completely differently than below?

Sometimes we have to look backwards to know that we're moving forwards in the right direction.

Is Business 'For' God or 'Of' God?

Twenty years ago I had a quadruple heart bypass.  Ten years ago I was told by a cardiac consultant to stop drinking alcohol and lose 30kgs.  In the same year 2006, I came up with an idea for a book and a new business.

If you take a look at the About pages you can find out a bit more about my background, but in a nutshell, I've been self-employed since 1987 in the business to business arena.

If Christianity is Relevant to Business, then where should I Start?

Why should I care about who Jesus is and what he did.

If Christianity is Relevant to Business, then where should I Start?

The world is full of noise and distractions, which means who ever shouts the loudest gets heard. So when it comes to faith, business people have been bludgeoned in to thinking they should ignore faith because they’re too intelligent and too busy for all that and are therefore particularly adept at side-stepping anything to do with faith.

For me, I look at this faith "thing" as good from God and bad from satan. Continue reading and see what you think by the end...
