If Christianity is Relevant to Business, then where should I Start?

11 March 2017, Written by Nigel Maine, Posted in God, Faith & Miracles, Business, Hits 1347

Why should I care about who Jesus is and what he did.

If Christianity is Relevant to Business, then where should I Start?

The world is full of noise and distractions, which means who ever shouts the loudest gets heard. So when it comes to faith, business people have been bludgeoned in to thinking they should ignore faith because they’re too intelligent and too busy for all that and are therefore particularly adept at side-stepping anything to do with faith.

For me, I look at this faith "thing" as good from God and bad from satan. Continue reading and see what you think by the end...

How our money damages our relationship with God, but not how you think!

I believe that money is the single most contentious and destructive element that exists throughout the Christian faith

How our money damages our relationship with God, but not how you think!

Since the beginning of time, there has always been a problem between man, money and God. Whenever a pastor or minister begins to address finances, the shutters come up.

It is widely believed that the Church is only after everyone's money. They're reluctant to give it away and in respect of the Church of England and the Catholic Church they're never far away from some financial scandal or complaint when it comes to cash.

How do worship songs affect us?

Is it right to sing Matt Redman's Blessed be the name of the Lord?

How do worship songs affect us?

When life “hit’s the fan”, the Church regularly turns us to the Book of Job to supposedly help comfort us, however, it seems to me that there’s a mismatch of messages. Are we really supposed to be comforted by the Book of Job or are we being “left in the lurch” for the sake of entertainment?

How can a non-Christian acknowledge or accept they're lost or know that being 'saved' really means?

What will it take for us to stop listening to celebrities and find out for ourselves what it means to be saved

How can a non-Christian acknowledge or accept they're lost or know that being 'saved' really means?

I recently heard a talk by Nancy Alcorn of Mercy Ministries describing the lost...

There are many sheep in Australia and towards the end of the day typically we would see one sheep with his head down eating grass and the rest of the sheep have walked away and are then taken to an enclosure. The lone sheep eating, lifts up its head, can't see all the other sheep and says to itself, "oh I'm lost".

It's the same with people who are busy doing their lives, working, learning, looking after the children and so on, that when they look up day to say oh I'm lost!

Explain to Me Why I am Always Being Called a Sinner

11 March 2017, Written by Nigel Maine, Posted in God, Faith & Miracles, Hits 690

How come we are all supposed to be sinners, what happened to make us this way?

Explain to Me Why I am Always Being Called a Sinner

It's a fact, in God's eyes we're all sinners, but it wasn't supposed to be that way, yet so many people, both Christians and non-Christians alike simply don't understand the basics of our faith which holds them back from experiencing the most amazing lives possible.
