Promise

Jesus is always working on our behalf and is aware of everything. (5:17)

Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you. Draw a line and start again. (5:14)

Stop complaining about what I said. (6:43)

Application

It is too complicated to extract and examine why following Jesus makes our lives work.

Believe. Follow. Obey. Submit. All these descriptions don't sit well with the way of the world but they make me feel that because there is someone (Jesus), looking out to me, I always have a superior to go to instead of being of feeling like an island.

Gods message:

People must understand what it means to get right with God, to know our ancestry and where we came from. To know the stories that shape us and how the enemy tries to erode our past.
