Nigel-	Welcome, welcome. Welcome to this week's podcast. I'm your host. I'm Nigel Maine .
Liz-	And I'm Liz Maine
Nigel-	Who you've probably guessed by now is my wife. What we're going to do today is we are going to continue with our proof of God. This is only a short, short series, our Proof of God series, which is based upon watching a number of videos on on YouTube by a young man called Brandon Peterson. And we've got links in the description to his his videos.
Nigel-	And the critical thing about these these videos are that they have had a significant impact on both lives. And I think that that's the point of this, is that there are the Bible and faith and everything else means lots of different things to lots of different people. And we're just saying as the as the title of our webcast podcast, start of a podcast is Living in Faith.
Nigel-	This is how it's affected us. So it's it's not the be all and end all which is communicating what it is and how it has affected us and how we want it, how we communicate about it. But what we'll do first off, his list will start with a prayer and then we'll just just glide into it. I think that's the best way of putting it.
Liz-	Okay. So thank you, Lord, for blessing us with these videos and for this time spent with you and sharing this with our brothers and sisters in Christ. And we pray, Lord, that what we talk about today will be a blessing to others as it has been to us. And we also pray a blessing on Brandon and on his wife, Laura and Lord, that you would just continue to work in them and that they will be able to bring more videos to the and to the Christian community, to the believer community and that so we just give you thanks Lord, and lift this up to you today in Jesus name.
Nigel-	Amen. Amen. So today, just to kind of I suppose the best way of putting this is, is that the title is 70 times seven, and there are a variety of there's lots of videos out there, about 70 times seven, lots of sermons out there, about 70 times seven. And what it means to different people. But the point of the point of these, there's going to be four there's going to be four in total about proof of God.
Nigel-	That's that's what I'm planning on. We're planning on doing. And this 170 times seven. And this is about where Peter says to Jesus, how many times should I forgive my brother? Should it be seven times? And Jesus replies, Nice and to you it should be 70 times. Seven times, which means 490 in and and reading into that, that means as many times as necessary.
Liz-	And limitless time.
Nigel-	Is limitless. And people people talk about, well, what was the relevance is 70 times 70 and we we to do ourself justice. We then did some additional research over and above watching Brandon's video to see what other people said and and they were similar, referring back to Daniel, the Book of Daniel and the 7770s and the 70 week prophecies and so on, which adds up to 790 and what they were talking about with those those points actually referred to forgiveness and the end times, end time revelation and so on.
Nigel-	And one one chap made reference back to Amos Sydney and that was to do with again to do with forgiveness. But the one of the things about forgiveness in terms of Pharisees was that they believed that if you gave your brother, if you forgave your brother three times, that was enough. You didn't have to do anymore. So Peter was trying to say, Well, you know, seven being a perfect number, I guess maybe we should forgive them seven times.
Nigel-	But going back to the 770, 70 times, seven 490 being perfect number the previous that the other videos we looked at were making reference to the perfect number to be born and nativity and so on is 490 Bethlehem's 490 bread and forgiveness you know it's 490 490 being the year of jubilee, which is the ultimate the ultimate jubilee every 49 years, which is seven times seven, which which was the Jubilee year.
Nigel-	Seven years was the Jubilee year. So there's a great deal in the Bible about sevens, and it's about the forgiveness of debts, the Shmita Shmita, which is the end of the seven years and the Jubilee. And so rereading this, you know, one of the things within the standard website that I wrote about was about forgiveness. And there are I, I think that the the critical thing about these four videos and relating to forgiveness and we talked about last weeks the sevens being seven and there were two two videos on those is that how how do we view the Bible that there's there's a staggering amount of dialog out there which is just read anything,
Nigel-	doesn't matter what you read long as you read something as a matter and no and this diminishing value placed on the King James Bible. it's complicated. it's old English of which this say, which that And when you've got situations like 70 times seven. And what we're going to talk about is the the the inescapable proof that this has been delivered to us by God.
Nigel-	Now, that's a big statement. And people go, well, the Bible was written by men. Yes. So science books, but a man could not have written this. It is impossible for a human person of our intellect to have written this book with the mathematical perfection built into it. It is. You forget. I mean, it ain't happening. Absolutely no way.
Nigel-	And and what we're saying is, for us, this has this information has proven that this is God's word. It's been given to us by God. And therefore, we have, as Liz- and I, we have a duty to do as we're told and follow it. That's it. What you do sometimes entirely up to you. We're not sitting around. You should do this.
Nigel-	I mean, one of the one of the videos we listen to, this guy's going, and this is what we believe. And it's it's all about Daniel and it's all about this, that and the other. And all these people that believe in these futurists and preach risks. And I come on to that in a minute, which means these these people that think that the Jesus has come and gone and we're living in a different ages.
Nigel-	So when you go see see that it completely destroys your argument because of what I'm saying about Daniel, I mean, I'm thinking, no, it doesn't. In fact, not at all. Because you haven't even scratched the surface. You've just you've looked at 490. Okay. That's very, very interesting. When put in to context, too, is what Brandon's revealed for this is nothing compared to what Brandon's revealed is it's just there's that as well.
Liz-	Yeah.
Nigel-	So, so the point that the point is, is that the the thing about the 70 times seven, it's about forgiveness. And if you like us have got the big picture of the Bible, which is it's all about forgiveness, right?
Liz-	Yeah, absolutely.
Nigel-	And to kind of nutshell, it God made the heaven, Earth created man in his own image, Adam and Eve on on the earth. And we're living in the Garden of Eden. Satan had already been banished to Earth. Earth became Satan's prison. He wasn't in heaven. So Satan gets into the Garden of Eden and causes Eve to go against God, to sit.
Liz-	Out what God said.
Nigel-	To to doubt what God had said, to do what He told it not to do, and therefore sinned against God. That that act meant that Adam and Eve then handed over their authority to rule Earth over to Satan. He was given the lease. He was given the keys to Earth. So that's where everybody was up until Jesus is returned.
Nigel-	Now, there's lots of stuff there, Steve. We've got obviously we've got nowhere and we've got the flood and we've got lots of different things that have happened throughout the Bible up to that point. But Jesus came back, Jesus was born. He was born for a specific purpose so that He would be the LAMB of God sacrificed for our sins because there's a price.
Liz-	To the perfect sacrifice, the ultimate sacrifice that no sacrifice of a bull or a lamb, no animal could cover all of months. It could only be the perfect man, the ultimate sacrifice, which was Jesus.
Nigel-	And that the thing that I don't it's not it's not lost on many people. Some people people don't realize this is a supernatural, spiritual issue that we are dealing with. And some you know, I remember my brother saying to me, yeah, a long time debt for it's like, yeah, until you until he face judgment. But that's that's the deal.
Nigel-	There is an ultimate judgment and I don't know if there's going to be many nonbelievers or people that don't believe in God at all. Going to listen to this podcast. Most most people are kind of on a journey of some description and the seeking and so on. Yeah, and some people will listen and click away. Some people I mean, I had a guy I made a comment from last week that nope, nope, complete and utter waste of time didn't prove God at all.
Nigel-	And then quoted about the the verses in in Mark that had been omitted in certain bibles and he was quoting the sin Atticus, the codex, the different codex is and so on. It's like we're doing that for you. Missing the point. The point was if you, if you, if you listened, omitting those verses meant okay, if, if I can put this into the right context with those verses in there, there were 677 verses in Mark with all of them being in there.
Nigel-	Take those ones out that people don't that certain Bibles don't have. It reduces Mark to 666 verses sign of the beast he's not responded funny that but the point is is that people some people are seekers some people are not and and I and part of me is thinking that you know with Brandon he's he's until not talking he not jumping in.
Liz-	No that's fine because I'm just allowing you to sort of set the scene. I mean I think the thing is this you know the Bible is about that is what it is. It's about forgiveness. And that was why Jesus came, that we would and it would reestablish our and our relationship with God. It would take away that sin separated us from God.
Liz-	And if you understand that seven times, seven and nine, just because he's got all the notes and will kind of break that down and what that means and what that means in terms of what is said in the Bible, there was one thing that not just just said earlier about the and, you know, referring to Amos and so on and about science books.
Liz-	And we talked about this earlier, how, you know, we believe the science books.
Nigel-	Yeah.
Liz-	And there's a couple of things on that that the and the Jubilee. So I'll deal with the science books first because we talked about this last week. So people believe the science books and they say, you know, follow the science, believe the science and so on and so on. And I my belief is the reason that people don't necessarily believe the Bible or one of the the criticisms or whatever that they have of the Bible is they say there are so many versions, therefore it's been changed loads of times.
Liz-	How can you believe it now when you we talk about what we're going to talk about next and what we talked about like last week, which was the hundred and 53 fishes, I mean, we haven't really our journey has been a a a different journey. But this is, you know, looking at these numbers, not looking at the numerical perfection is just something else that added to our faith.
Liz-	But the thing is about the different versions is that, yes, you could yeah, you could say yes because those different versions have been written by man. But the King James Bible, which has got all of these numerical perfections in it, we believe this is this is God's version. This is the only version. This is the only truth. So that should be.
Nigel-	What you said about mathematics. B In science, Yeah.
Liz-	And mathematics is science. Yeah. You know, we, we, we don't, we don't argue that two plus two is four. No because that's maths. No. When you look at the mathematical perfection in the Bible why would you doubt that. Why would you not think that that is then that for real. Because we accept a lot of things, mathematical in science and so on, that there they are real.
Liz-	And so there's that side of it that this is God's, this is God's truth. It's not a version, it's not man's work, man's hands on it. And, you know, all these versions. I think you did a count, didn't you? I don't know what the how many versions of the Bible there were, but by definition, the fact that.
Nigel-	Over 200 and there was 106 to 220 something, there were a hundred and 160 odd that were full versions and 50 odd. I think it was I think it was about 50 odd. Yeah, that were partial versions.
Liz-	Yeah. And by definition, the word version suggests that it's just one of many.
Nigel-	Yeah.
Liz-	Whereas, and this was something that kind of came out of Brendon's videos, it's like the King James Bible. It's not it's not a.
Nigel-	He doesn't call it the K J.V., whereas which is what lots of people did.
Liz-	And so and you know, we even on new Bibles call it the K J.V., but it suggests one of many where is this is this is where this is the ultimate for us. This is the ultimate.
Nigel-	This is the ground. This is kind of a grassroots ground level BIBLE. Yeah. All the others are versions of it. And some people might go, well, you're saying that wait until you have to do yourself a favour. Yeah. And you can look at if the link in the description, if you're what you if you're watching this, you're not watching this at all.
Nigel-	If you're listening to this on YouTube or on Spotify or on Apple or anywhere in the description is a link to out one of one of our web pages on that Web page is a that the best kind of illustration I can give. And the reason I say that is that the the graphic is so large that it may not render very well, but it you'll get you'll see what we're talking about.
Nigel-	The point of it is that there are hundreds of mathematical, just amazing mathematical facts that relate to the frequency of numbers throughout the Bible. The art, on one hand, are inexplicable. On the other hand, just demonstrate absolute perfection. And that's what we're dealing with here. That's what we're dealing with. With God and with Jesus is absolute perfection beyond anything any human could ever do.
Nigel-	And and for us, it's saying, okay, now we absolutely get and believe this. It is so serious, so significant that you kind of got to pick yourself up off the floor and now start reading the Bible for the lessons that are in there now. Now it's been proven every single time. I mean, even things like certain words are capitalized, all capitalized.
Nigel-	There is an exact frequency of 70 times seven for capitalized words. As Java is. You have to kind of get into it and start to realize the enormity of it to then go, I hope you go, my goodness gracious me. I just I had no idea this was so significant. I better sort my life out and read read this with reverence because this ain't this ain't got nothing to do with your pastor or anybody else that you might be following in a church or whatever.
Nigel-	You have to get this on the inside for yourself. Yeah. And and I kind of say to lots of people and nobody nobody's responsible for your salvation. Only you are. And you have to see and believe this for yourself. And fortunately, fortunately, what Brandon's done is he's created a graphic illustration of everything.
Liz-	Because there's actually I mean, even it says at the beginning of this video, I just can't I'm just scratching the surface. I can't I can't tell you everything that's on the know, but it's the company. And the thing is, it's it's the combination. It's the words. It's the combination of words. It's their location in the Bible.
Nigel-	The frequency, the frequency.
Liz-	It's it's all of these things. So it's not just one thing.
Nigel-	It's all of.
Liz-	These lots of things that reveal God's fingerprint or God's.
Nigel-	Existence. Existence which which in which for me, that's an I don't know about you, but for me it says nobody can turn around to me and go, that's what you think? No, like I have to say, like my mother said, that's your interpretation of it. And it's like, Well, no, you're wrong. You're absolutely wrong.
Liz-	Yeah.
Nigel-	Deceived completely. So. So going back coming back to this particular 170 times seven, the debt, the thing about forgiveness, we are told to forgive, not necessarily for the other person, but for us, for ourselves. One illustration, I'm sure many lot people have had this before. Not forgiving somebody is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to add to fall ill.
Nigel-	It's something that you have to do for yourself. So that's that's kind of the first thing. But regarding this forgiveness, the way that this has been presented is it's in three stages and they're all massively significant. The first stage is about Jesus. So who Jesus is, who he said he was and why he was killed, why was crucified?
Nigel-	It's the first one. The second one is is about forgiveness and where the forgiveness element is presented. I've got to get this right and and the numbers of times that you should you should forgive. And and the third part is the relevance of forgiveness and our eternal salvation. So so the first part so how this has been constructed is about Jesus and why he was killed.
Nigel-	The second part is the mentions of of of where this happens in terms of how many times you should forgive and why. And the third part is our eternal salvation. So Jesus was condemned to die because he said he was the son of God. And that's what all the Pharisees got. And Nick is in a twist about now that that the point of this Jesus states that he's a son of God.
Nigel-	He said, I am my father of one, which is John 1030. And then he says, And John 1036 I am the son of God. Now the words father plus son together are mentioned 70 times seven. So between where it says I am my father, a one in 1030 and then 1036 in between there we've got 1032 and 1034 in which Jesus is mentioned.
Nigel-	Okay, this is this is this is mind blowing. Jesus is mentioned 70 times seven. Okay. And he's mentioned twice. There's two groups of 70 times seven. These two mentions of Jesus is the last mention of Jesus in the first 70 times seven and the first mention of Jesus in the second of 70 times seven, sandwiched between I am my father one and I'm the son of God, which is also mentioned 70 times seven.
Nigel-	So the Jesus is mentioned 70 times seven, 70 times seven is mentioned 70 times 70. Sorry. In the old books of the Bible and 70 times 70 in the even books of the of the New Testament, there are 166 chapters in the in the odd books and 94 chapters in the even books. And there's there's just over 5000 verses in the old books and 2800 verses in the even books, just in numbers of words.
Nigel-	There's 117 over 117,000 words in the old books of the New Testament and 62,000 in the even. But he's mentioned equally in both and sandwiched between the first and the last is I'm my father one, and I'm the son of God. And the point is, is that Jesus was crucified because he said he was the son of God.
Nigel-	And the Pharisees said, That's blasphemy. We're going to kill you. And they even took it to pilot and said, we want we want to kill him, because he said he's he's he's a son of God. And he says, What do you mean? You know, this place of worship in Caesar and the sun and Mars and this and that and the other.
Nigel-	He's not bothered. But you mentioned in you the.
Liz-	When he when he said he claims to be the son of God and the passage says something like it was.
Nigel-	More, more afraid. Yeah. So, so so the first part of this, like I said, was that Jesus was condemned to die because he said he was the son of God. And where this is presented in John is that is the center of where Jesus is called Jesus and the Father and son of one thing. okay. That's that's interesting.
Liz-	Yeah. Just let that sink in for a minute, as they say.
Nigel-	So the second part of this is how many times should I forgive my brother? 70 times. 790 times. Matthew 1822. Now, part of this refers to the the the seventh time of the 70th verse appears in the Bible. The first time there are 70 verses in a chapter in the Bible is numbers 770. Now in that verse in set number 770, it talks about the offering of of a kid of goats for a sin offering.
Nigel-	So it's saying to a an animal there's going to be a blood sacrifice for sin offering. That's the first time in a 70th verse or the first time a 70th verse occurs in the Bible. So the seventh time a 70th verse appears in the Bible, it says, I'm looking for it now as Matthew 2670. It's the first time that Peter denies Christ.
Nigel-	That verse is the 980th birthday in the Bible, which is 70 times seven plus 70 times seven. So we're now looking at Peter denying Christ. It's the first time he denies Christ, and that's when Jesus looks over in. That's the first time because a third time he looks over in the cock crows. Okay. Now when it talks about the forgiveness of sins, if in the Lord's Prayer it says, In our Father in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, back into come, Thy will be done on earth, as didn't even give us our daily bread, forgive our debts as we forgive our debtors.
Nigel-	So the debt and the debtors is actually referring back to Jubilee and the debts that you are to forgive. In the seventh year of the Jubilee and the 49th year of which is seven times seven, and the ultimate which it mentions in Daniel, which is the 490 years, which is the seventh, the seventh, the 70, the 77 weeks, seven weeks.
Nigel-	Anyway, you with me. So we've we've got this, this, this, this kind of constant repetition. And the other part that, that that comes into this is Jesus plus Christ. The word Jesus appears in the Bible sorry, in the New Testament 777 times and the word Christ appears 777 times every seventh book in the New Testament, seventh, 14th and 21st have appearances of Jesus plus Christ.
Nigel-	So the first part we've got is Jesus was killed because he said He was the Son of God. The purpose of Jesus is to He came to forgive our sins so that we might have everlasting life. The next part of it is where Peter denies him, and Jesus has already forgiven him. And so when Jesus, when Peter says, you know, how many times should I should I forgive my brother?
Nigel-	Should it be seven times? And Jesus says, no, should be 70 times seven, which is 490. What Jesus is referring to is the constant forgiveness of sins. Because it's not your job to hold grudges. You must you must forgive your brother. His sins. And we had a we had a kind of a debate about this, about who's your brother.
Nigel-	So I say it's your brother in Christ because we're not we're not charged with standing on street corners saying you're all sinners. Do as he told. Can't church get baptized? We're not taught can do that. We're taught we're told that people will know us by our love for each other. We're not told to go and criticize, lambaste, have a go at anybody doing anything anyway.
Nigel-	We can you know, we certain things may arise in our presence and we may have a comment to make, but we are not to be their a dishing out judgment on every single man, woman and child that we think that we can have. We've we've got a comment. Absolutely. No, we are, in fact, to judge righteously our brothers.
Nigel-	And if someone is doing something wrong, we tell them if they tell us to get lost, two of us go and tell him or three of us. And if not, the whole church tells them. Church at the emphasis is on church. The church goes until that tells that person because they're in the church. And if they still refuse to not do as they're told, kick them out as if they become a nonbeliever because they're refusing to do as they're told, according to the the precepts of what the that the church says, what the Bible says.
Nigel-	So to me is clear is is is we are we are to judge righteously within the church, not outside it. And we took we touched on this last week about in being in the book of life there are it says about people being in the book of life and it says about some people have never been and will never be in the book of life.
Nigel-	And if you are in the book of life, you can get blotted out if you refuse to do what you're told to do and follow the precepts of the Bible. So there are people that are walking around that are not in the book of life, and we're all yes, we are all made in God's image. But most but some are children of God and some are children of Satan.
Nigel-	That's how it is. There's no wrong that there's no argument about that. It explains it.
Liz-	And then we have a just have a slightly I mean, my view on whether Peter is referring to his brother in Christ or not is a slightly over slightly different view that I think this forgiveness refers to. And everybody that, you know, regardless of whether they're your brother in Christ or not, that they and that God is referring to all to be forgiven.
Liz-	And Mary and my and my my rationale for that, this couple of things. One, because the Lord's Prayer says forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors in. So that's in the King James. And first we've touched on that because that refers back to the jubilee. Yes. So forgive us, our debtors. And but also I, I do.
Nigel-	Maybe that I very well, let me just just clarify something. So you've got the church. So if the church are the believers and one, two, three, the church goers say and if they don't and they pushed out, they kicked out the church. But these are the people that we are. We have a we believe we have a say, people on the outside who are not in the church, we're not to be out there dishing out, you should do this.
Nigel-	You should do that. And even if they do stuff, it's none of our concern. And we should naturally forgive them because they are on a different journey, on their own journey, and they may well come to faith, but if they don't God will judge them.
Liz-	Yes, Jesus says on the cross, you know, forgive them for they know not what they do. Yeah. So he's referring to those that are the they're and they're mocking him and they've crucified him. So he's Jesus is asking God to forgive them. Yeah. Because they are in ignorance. So that needs to be our model. And, and I also think to do with forgiveness and, and I did some training quite some time ago.
Liz-	I used to do some counseling and as in I was the counselor and, and the illustration of forgiveness for me, like you said about, you know, drinking the poison and expecting the other person to die because they don't or not be very well. But I also think forgiveness is something you know, it's something if you hold on to it, it becomes a heavy burden.
Liz-	And so I used to do an illustration that demonstrated that that forgiveness is something when you hold on to it, it becomes heavy for you to carry that burden. And so forgiveness releases you. It doesn't. And your your forgiveness of that person does not depend on their apology. Yeah. So and this is why, you know, in John 316, you know what it says that Jesus was, you know, died for he got sole of the world that he gave his only begotten son.
Liz-	And you know, Jesus died for all men sins that they would have the the freedom to live without sin. Yeah. And, and God wasn't waiting for people to apologize to him for their sin, because that would have been that would never have happened. People wouldn't, you know, they may have apologized for their sin and said, Right, okay, well now I'll send my, my son to to die for you to cover that sin if you think about it.
Nigel-	Yeah.
Liz-	And but it's not dependent on the other person's apology. It's this is a command. This is a you know, you have to forgive. Forgiveness is as much for you, but also the fact that Jesus died for your sins. And if you don't forgive, I mean, I think we're going to come onto this because you cannot disconnect forgiveness from having eternal life, because that was the cause.
Liz-	That's the other thing that really is key. Jesus salute.
Nigel-	Because we so so about.
Liz-	The keys to the kingdom.
Nigel-	Yeah. So we get borned we're born and until such time as we make a conscious decision to understand and follow Jesus until that point by default we're following Saint Nick and it doesn't matter how nice you are or how nice people are or anything that they say or do or don't do, or is it completely and utterly irrelevant.
Nigel-	There are millions and millions of really nice people out there, but they're not saved. They're just really nice people. There's fun and they and they they don't shoot and kill and swear and drink and whatever, whatever the quantifies what qualifies for sin. Yeah, but unless you unless you pledge allegiance to Jesus and acknowledge him as the Son of God, you belong to Satan.
Nigel-	And there's no there's no fence. There's no I'm not playing either of their games. No, that's fine. If you don't pledge allegiance to Jesus, you belong to Satan. That's how it is. And Satan wants you dead. Jesus wants you for life. You choose. It's not if it's a complicated decision and fine. Yeah. All we're doing is just saying, Look, this is how we see it.
Nigel-	And yes, I do. Yes, I do remember that. That guy's a guy called John and he and he went, you see, everything is black and white. Yep. Yep. Absolutely. And he was like, it's okay for LGBTQ, it's okay for transgenders, it's okay for this is okay for that. It's like, but if you're not going to tell him it's wrong, you're supporting him.
Nigel-	And he refused. I'm not. I'm, I'm not telling them it's wrong.
Liz-	Yeah, but that's the problem with the church. The church in a general sense. Yeah. And, but I think to the point of forgiveness about it being the key because this is why Jesus wasn't, you know, you can't overstate that Jesus died for our sin, for the forgiveness of our sins, that we would have that relationship, that everlasting relationship with God.
Liz-	Yeah. In heaven. And the reason you can't disconnect it because in the Bible, in and it's mentioned twice, so it's mentioned in Matthew 16 and it's also mentioned in Matthew 18, which is where the Jesus says. And today I say not until the and until seven times, but until 77 times, 70 times seven. It mentions about the keys to the kingdom.
Liz-	And this is what I'd never really understood, and it was about the binding and the loosing. So I'll read the text and then if you just kind of explain it. So when Matthew 18 Matthew 1815.
Nigel-	We said, he says if he says it first of all 1619 whosoever shall.
Liz-	Yeah. So I'll read 1619 for it because it's almost exactly the same. If I can get to the page my best to you on it so and it say so Jesus is saying to to Peter and and Simon Peter and so Jesus says he says unto them but whom say you that I am And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God and Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou Simon, for Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto the but my father, which is in heaven.
Liz-	And I also say unto the that they were Peter. And upon this rock, I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven and whatsoever thou shalt find on earth shall be found in heaven, and whatsoever thou shalt loose on Earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Liz-	So that was. That's sick, Matthew 16 Then if we skip forward to Matthew 18, it then talks about the trespassing brother, and that's how it sets it up in my Bible. So Matthew 1815 and it says, moreover, if they prove the show trespass against, they go and tell him his fault between they and him alone. If he shall here he now has gained thy brother.
Liz-	But if he will not healthy, then take with the one or two more that in the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word may be established. And if we shall neglect to hear them tell it unto the church. But if we neglect to hear the church, let him be unto the is a he's a man and a publican.
Liz-	Verily, I say unto you whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven again. I say and to you that if two if you shall agree on Earth as touching anything, that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father, which is in heaven.
Liz-	Four where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them? Then came Peter to him and said, Lord, how off shall my brother sinned against me? And I forgive him till seven times? And Jesus saith unto him, I say, not unto the until seven times, but until 70 times seven. And then it goes on to talk about the unforgiving servant, because then it says, therefore, is the kingdom of Heaven likened unto a king.
Liz-	And that's the parable of the king, forgiving the debt of the servant of the talents. Yeah, he owed him 10,000 talents.
Nigel-	So he's a useful person, kind of useful. So 10,000 talents. One talent was the equivalent of 15 years salary. So 10,000 talents was the equivalent of 150,000 years. Salaries in today's money would have been about $5 trillion.
Liz-	That the national debt and.
Nigel-	And I wouldn't.
Liz-	And I wouldn't know how we run up that debt that's for but to.
Nigel-	Sing it but but they would have known at the time that 10,000 talents was like you got to be kidding me. Yeah so in today if someone says if you so so we've we've we've whipped a few quid away from from Rothschild. Yeah. So we've got you know we're in debt for $5 trillion. I don't think I'm being forgiven.
Nigel-	Don't worry, I'll wear that one.
Liz-	But that is that's God's grace, isn't it? Because that says that God will forgive.
Nigel-	Every and unimaginable amount.
Liz-	Of sin.
Nigel-	Yeah. So, so coming back to this, he mentioned.
Liz-	The king.
Nigel-	Back to the keys to the kingdom. You mentioned church. It's the only two times church is mentioned in the New Testament.
Liz-	In those.
Nigel-	Gospels, in the gospel. Yeah. Two those two times I said so what you lose in binding and loosing is, is something that we are put this way, we were told, we were told by people that believed in the prosperity gospel that you bind this up when lose that new money will come to you and yada yada, yada. And it's like now these people can and they've quite convincing in what they put across, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Nigel-	So when you when you look at when you look at these passages and you think, okay, you've said about your pass it back over to me, it's almost.
Liz-	But the point it for me, well, it's about this the keys to the kingdom is inextricably linked.
Nigel-	To forgiveness.
Liz-	Forgiveness that and I think if you grasped that because if you look where it is and the context, because this is what you see, this is the whole thing about the Bible, Right? So we're reading at the moment this morning, we read Deuteronomy 28. If you've ever registered on me to, it's actually the long I think it's the longest chapter in Deuteronomy.
Liz-	It's very long, right? There must be nearly I think there's maybe even like nearly 65 verses in Deuteronomy 28. And of course, a lot of people just read the first sort of 16 verses, I think is and so the 68 verses in Deuteronomy 28. And the reason I'm bringing this up, it's about context. And people can genuinely and and legitimately read the first 14 verses of Deuteronomy 28, which is all about the poor, how God will bless you, you'll bless your coming in and you're going out and you know, you'll bless your breadbasket and all of that so that all the blessings will come upon you if you are by my commandments.
Liz-	The first 14 verses, the next, however many that is 50 odd verses, 50, whatever it is of Deuteronomy is all about the curses. Yeah, So, so but the point I'm making is, is that if you take stuff out of context that works for you, that is not the whole picture of the Bible. That's why you have to read the Bible, I think, from start to finish, because otherwise you don't.
Liz-	The whole picture of the Bible, if you only pick and choose and this is one of those passages that has been picked out of the Bible has been and you say binding on Earth, you know, you bind Satan on Earth and it'll be, you know, bound in heaven unless. But that's not the context. The context here is forgiveness.
Liz-	And if you don't forgive, if you if you bind on Earth as in you, you refuse to let go of that issue that you have and you refuse to forgive, then it'll be found in heaven. So it will be bound to you, not to the other person. Whereas if you release them, it will be released in heaven. And so that's the hope, that's the context of it.
Liz-	And then he's and then Jesus goes on to say that, you know, this is this is why you will, you know, give you the keys to the kingdom.
Nigel-	Because the other the other part of it and one of the I think one of the problem not it's not a problem. We're doing a podcast and what we're we're we're trying to conjure up these images of a of a of a massive graphic with lots of calculations on it all over the place and everything equaling this and adding up to that and being this and, and being blown away is it's really difficult to I think, to to present this.
Nigel-	But the critical thing excuse me, the critical thing is about really understanding about forgiveness and I had a phone call the day before on Friday and someone I've been speaking to and she'd started a new business and I wasn't sure what she was going to do. And someone wanted to do a contract but not sign anything. And I said, Look, at the end of the day, you've got to get it in writing.
Nigel-	That's how things work in business, get it in writing, say, Look, I'm sure you're a lovely person, everything else. But this is how I work, covers both of us. Everybody's happy, and then you'll have peace about it. And the whole point about the the Bible is about Jesus giving us, leaving us with his peace. And He Jesus says, I will leave you rest.
Liz-	I will give you rest.
Nigel-	I'll give you rest. So, so peace. Rest, chilled, relaxed. No effort is it's part and parcel of the same thing, even when it comes to forgiveness. Because if you don't forgive someone, you're holding a grudge. So you've got aggro, you've got this inherent. just it is it is very easy to not forgive. And I, I've, I got some issues.
Nigel-	My, my, my, my, my first daughter died. She was out with my ex-wife, took us, took her the wrong place, had an accident, died, got divorced, got lambasted by my ex-wife and her new boyfriend through the courts, went to court 86 times. It took 15 years before I got written proof to represent to the police to confirm that they'd lied.
Nigel-	And because they were in a different jurisdiction of of the police, I had to go to a different police force. And the different police force went, well, yeah, we can see that we absolutely screwed up big time at the time when you said that this this incident had happened between between the boyfriend and and your daughter. But there's nothing we can do about it now.
Nigel-	Your daughter's of an age. She has to go and she'd have to bring it to us directly. But the police in a different jurisdiction said if you happened to, you would go and arrest them right now. So I've got a lot to be very upset with people about it, whether it's parents or siblings, brothers and sisters, even my own children.
Nigel-	People out there are evil. I genuinely a pursuit of evil things and will convince, cajole and or train others to behave badly as well. So it's very, you know, for me, very easy to go out. I don't forgive them, but I do because I have to leave. I mean, Paul says, well, I just have to leave them to Satan.
Nigel-	I don't know how Harry words it, but you know, people won't do as they're told they won't they won't behave properly.
Liz-	To do is to protest in Christ. Yeah. They would talk he was told.
Nigel-	Yeah I know, I have to have to leave them to, you know, have to leave out the church and allegiance. But these are, but these are people in the church, people outside the church we're told not to, not to cast which to forgive them because God's judgment will deal with them. I couldn't have all this. And I believe me, it did, too.
Nigel-	It took me a long time to forgive because I'd a lot to not forgive. So if you want to look at it that way. But I forgive I've got to forgive them because that's what it says. And so when it when it comes to these this this illustration of forgiveness and about Jesus giving us rest and Jesus, that in that the 343rd verse of the New Testament, it says, I will give you rest.
Nigel-	And it mentions the Sabbath rest. And it's the 7,777th time that Jesus mentions the Sabbath. And it's at the same time that he's rebuking the Pharisees. So, you know, you've got to look at why why would Jesus go to such extremes to forgive us and to lay down his life for us? I don't know. Clearly, God, you know, God had a plan.
Nigel-	But in one John 415, he says, if you don't if you if you have Jesus, if you have Christ, you have life. If you don't have Christ, if you don't have Jesus, you don't have life. Yeah, you you're finished. You will however, you get this on the inside. But if you if you don't have there's two choices. There's only, only, only two choices.
Liz-	And Jesus and I want to just finish off on the case to the kingdom because and the reason it's linked is because in Matthew and 16, it talks about I will give you I will build my church upon upon you, as in I will build my church upon and Peter the rock and thou art Peter. And upon this rock I will build my church and I will give in to the case of the kingdom.
Liz-	And then when the case of the Kingdom are mentioned again two chapters later, it says about binding and loosing. And that's the point. That's why you can't disconnect those to know that the keys of the kingdom can only come through Christ's forgiveness of you and your forgiveness of others. And they are entrenched, they are intrinsically just linked. So my my newly so within the Lord's Prayer, forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
Liz-	Yeah, that's linked to the Jubilee which is talked about in I think we for that. And that was Yeah. And that's obviously in the Old Testament. I can't remember that. Yeah. But you have two choices and we just read this this morning. So we were reading Deuteronomy as I said, and in due to on the May 3019, he says God is talking to and Moses is, is sharing what God said to the Israelites.
Liz-	And he says in that I commanded this day to love the Lord. I got to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments and statutes and his judgments that thou mass live and multiply and the Lord thy God shall bless the in the land without ghost to possess it. But it Steinhart turned away so that I will not hear, but shall be drawn away in worship of the gods and serve them.
Liz-	I denounce and to you this day that you shall surely perish. And that you shall not prolong your days upon the land without persist over Jordan to go to possess it. Now, if you put that into like a modern day context, this is of of being obeying God's commandments were doing what God is telling us to do. Yeah.
Liz-	And if we serve as the gods, whatever those of the gods may be, whatever those idols are that we've set up, whether it's celebrity, it's money or whatever it is, those of the gods that draws away from God. And then in 19 and this is the whole point about, you know, do or don't do, there is no try but it say and he says, I call heaven and earth to record this day against you that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing.
Liz-	And this God therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live, that thou may love the Lord, that God and that thou may stop His voice, and that thou may cleave unto Him, for He is thy life. And the length of three days that thou may dwell in the land which the Lord swear. And to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob to give them.
Liz-	And the thing is that clearly links up into the New Testament where he says, you know, he is thy life.
Nigel-	Yeah.
Liz-	If you have Jesus, you have life, you have the Father, life is in Jesus. If you don't have him, you don't have life. Yeah. Because you don't have gotten you don't have Jesus. And the the whole you know, it, it just keeps coming back to the same thing about.
Nigel-	Well, the thing about.
Liz-	Forgiveness about Jesus and about him being our life and having eternal life through the forgiveness of our sins.
Nigel-	Well, the thing about I mentioned about rest. So I will. I will. I will give you rest is in the 343rd verse of the New Testament, which is seven times seven times seven is also the first mention of the Sabbath in the New Testament, which is Matthew 1224. And so all of all of this. So no matter which way you you look at this with with a with a something that is a come with how many words now.
Nigel-	790,000 words I sent and to to to make it so mathematically perfect and to make different things sandwiched between others and so on and so on is, is to me is completely and utterly mind boggling and, and I really I mean, if you still with us, we're an hour into this. If you're still with us, I really, really urge you to look at either look at the the the the link in the description in the article that I've got in the standard or the link back to Brandon's videos to watch them that just blow you away and just just just soak it up.
Nigel-	It will change your life. If you're numerically minded, it will change your life. And then can go on to the next the next part of your journey, which is living it. I mean, for next week, what we're going to do, we're going to come to a close now is quite a nice must finish. Next week we're going to talk 153 fishes.

Liz-	It's because we're talking about it constantly folks. So forgive me if I got that wrong, but we, we have talked about this.
Nigel-	So much on speaking.
Liz-	Stop because this is so huge for us. It's such a huge thing for us to have it revealed to us that we're just we talk about it all the time.
Nigel-	The thing is, is that, you know, we when people have been criticized, marginalized, persecuted, you name it, because of being believers. And in so many cases, people do not have a response, except this is what they feel on the inside. And it's very difficult for people to communicate to to to respond and say, look, before you start this, let's just put all the words to one side a minute.
Nigel-	Let's just look at the mathematical repetition that the mathematical anomaly that this actual book is this particular Bible, this one and only. This comes after all the Greek in Hebrew, this comes after all of that. And so just just to touch on it. So next week is 153, then it's six, six, six. And the next one after that is what we believe is our timeline and why I say this was not written 2000 years ago.
Nigel-	It wasn't written in its form 2000 years ago. It was written much, much later, much, much, much, much later in its current form with italicized. Because if you look at the if you if you look at the if you look at the Hebrew and Greek, show me where it says in italics. Show me where it says these have been capitalized because it doesn't you don't have if you if you've got Hebrew.
Nigel-	So what did you just just push down a bit harder. And so that's, that's, that's been capitalized like Lord and farther. So the frequency because we're talking about the frequency of capitalized letters, the frequency of letters that have got commerce, that are words that have got apostrophes. So that that, that the complexity of this is beyond anything to, like I said before, the any I could have done and that's, that's the closest you'll you'll even be able to get to, to writing something like this.
Nigel-	So like I said so that so next week is hundred and 53 fishes and you're going to love it. It's just it's just my goodness. Just beyond anything you could imagine. And and I, I just I can't urge you enough to to just go and watch these videos. And one one thing that keeps coming back to me is that we are all personally responsible for our own salvation.
Nigel-	Nobody else's. Not your pastor, not you. Mother, father, spouse, nobody, nobody, nobody, nobody is responsible for your salvation except you. And that's why, you know, even with, you know, people people believe that you don't have to get baptized. I disagree. I absolutely disagree. Because to say a prayer, to go, not now. now I believe. yes, yes, I believe that now.
Nigel-	I that's really, really interesting. That is, anybody can say that. How on earth do you pledge your allegiance, your life to Jesus, except by getting baptized? You're making a statement. You are being sealed in a in a covenant relationship, a covenant agreement between you, God. So you get baptized unless you're afraid of water. You know, you've got to see the logic in it that, you know, 3000 people got baptized in X, Paul baptized, Cornelius got baptized the unit with Peter got baptized, everybody gets baptized.
Nigel-	So when someone tells me I said, you don't need to get baptized, I do take that very seriously and say, Well, I don't believe you. I think you're, you know, it's a bit like someone that we we know who did loads and loads of videos really, really, really, really, really, really good videos and then lambasted and ridiculed Flat Earth.
Nigel-	It's like God says it's flat. dear. Anyway on that. And that could be another one, if it.
Liz-	Will be another.
Nigel-	One.
