The next two in-line for the Throne of England either can't be bothered with church and by their behaviour, by default, neither understand nor respect the Sovereignty of God.
Other religions wouldn't set foot in a Christian church, yet our leaders bow down to other gods and idols in their temples, take off their shoes and don the appropriate headwear. This is just typical vote winning tactics to try and please all the people all the time and selling out, but why?
We must stop this nonsense and allow God to take the lead role in our futures.
One reason is that money is leading the way and as David Cameron stated this week, Sharia finance and Muslim funding has now entered Britain in a big way. To quote Derek Prince (Visit Derek Prince Ministries), he foretold that the UK would become the first Muslim state outside of Middle and Far East.
Power of Death & Life in the Tongue (Ps 18:21)
It is increasingly difficult to get new believers in to church, in particular business men and women. My view is that a businessperson will have grafted long and hard and adhered to a structure to drive his or her business to become successful. This is normal commerce. As business people, we follow rules, procedures and guidelines.
So when it comes to listening to what our leaders say, their influence is long lasting and far reaching.
Archbishop of Canterbury
It's not surprising therefore, considering the examples our prominent church leaders set, to expect any business person or non-Christian to even begin to acknowledge God when our own leaders, like the Archbishop of Canterbury, think they can dismiss parts of the Bible like redefining marriage or make off-hand remarks about our future monarchy changing religions and becoming Buddhist. Read the article here. It simply doesn't add up.
Tony Blair
Take a look at the first few minutes of Jeremy Paxman's interview with Tony Blair – He doesn't even know who said that the world was created in six days! Even in his speech at the inaugural conference of the Canadian Office of Religious Freedom last month, Oct 2013, there was not even a mention of God - click here to read the full speech.
David Cameron
"I claim no religious authority whatsoever," he said. "I am a committed, but I have to say vaguely practising, Church of England Christian, who will stand up for the values and principles of my faith but who is full of doubts. Like many (I am) constantly grappling with the difficult questions when it comes to some of the big theological issues."
Below is a picture of Mr & Mrs Cameron at the Diwali celebrations making offerings, forehead marked and dressed accordingly.
It says in the Bible, "for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God" (Exodus 34:14). I would not use the word "grappling". I think "completely ignoring it" would be more appropriate!
Ezekiel 23:25 has a more serious view on repercussions "I will direct my jealous anger against you, and they will deal with you in fury. They will cut off your noses and your ears, and those of you who are left will fall by the sword. They will take away your sons and daughters, and those of you who are left will be consumed by fire"
Nick Clegg
Asked directly on BBC Radio 5 Live, 'Do you believe in God?', Mr Clegg replied simply: 'No'. So, no need for me to comment here!
Where Freewill Gets Us
Taking it one step further, how can we expect our younger generation to do as they're told if their parents won't. Let's face it, even our Magistrates are discussing the removal of the Bible as the Holy Book to swear on oath. I guess the next step is to take off the coat of arms that is on the wall behind our Judges that reads 'Dieu et Mon Droit', 'God and My (Legal) Right'.
It may seem a disgrace how our leaders behave, that they allow the most incredulous things to happen, however, it says in the Bible to pray for our leaders and that they are appointed by God, but don't forget, they also have the same freewill as we do. If they are making bad decisions or appear to be falling away from The Faith, we have to ask ourselves what is influencing them.
A Biblical Future?
Prince William hardly ever goes to Church, why! How come the second in line to the throne, the defender of The Faith, can't be bothered. It shows that the baptism of Harry was done out of ceremony and tradition, not belief.
This I believe is a result of the teaching he has received and what is influencing those around him. Whilst The Queen is quoted as being a devout Christian, how come with all the holy support a monarch has, they still couldn't get the future King to believe in God and worship him. Another point to consider is that Prince Charles is considering a title that befits him embracing all other religions.
Perhaps Prince Charles and Prince William should read 2 Kings (which is an aptly name book!) in the Bible and see what God did to the Kings who failed to acknowledge Him!
It may seem incredulous that this has happened and continues to happen. The Bible is accepted as The Truth by some 1.5 billion Christians and that every word is God breathed. In addition, there are so many amazing testimonies of what God has done in people's lives in this country and around the world, it should be impossible to not acknowledge God and want to do whatever it takes to please him.
Jobs for the Boys
If our political leaders, church leaders and Monarchy won't follow the rules, guidelines, precepts and laws as stated in the Bible, how on earth can we expect to win new souls for the Kingdom of God or expect society to follow them?
Even when looking at the financial sector – it's the pot calling the kettle black! Why should bankers behave if no one else will?
It makes me smile (especially if you've read all the "Left Behind" series of books). One could say that Tony is being played! - grab a hold of the title of this organisation - The Faith & Globalisation Initiative - The Tony Blair Faith Foundation - Click to visit.
Whether Catholic, C of E or any another religion our elected leaders choose to use as a "front", Tony Blair, Prince Charles or anyone else for that matter will not escape Final Judgement. God is God and failing to read the Bible is no excuse for erasing Christianity from the UK in an attempt to please everyone and be inclusive.
Pray for Our Leaders
It is written that "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people - for Kings and all those in authority" (1 Timothy 2) We must pray for our leaders to be given wisdom and to become informed and to understand the truths in the Bible, not hearsay or some second-hand assumption or snippet. We must pray that people will cross all of their paths and influence them to get to know God and to be encouraged that no true believer in history has ever failed when trusting in God.
In light of the above, what is influencing our leaders and people in general to dismiss all this proof and evidence? Read "Go Ahead and Blame God Why Don't You"
