The enemy is an expert in setting people against each other. Do you know why? God wants you for eternity and Satan wants you dead. Ever since Adam and Eve, Satan has been deceiving or devising ways to separate us from God. Satan runs, or should I say rules the Earth, He's done so since Adam and Eve.
We have a choice. We have freewill. God wants us to choose Him. Too many people think they've got through life without getting drawn in to religion or some such thing. But the reality is; if people think they're not susceptible to faith or think they've cleverly avoided the sky daddy stuff, or they think they're sitting on the fence, they're so wrong; Satan owns the fence, and he is the cause of indecision.
My parents were of the opinion where they were always right and everyone else was wrong! Whilst life-long Catholics, they didn't believe in repentance, then baptism as adults, or those of an age to know right from wrong, needed baptism, not only as acknowledgement of being a sinner, but moreover that we all need a saviour. We can't save ourselves! So when talking about baptism and the reality of Jesus' words in the Bible, even to the point of showing the words in red, my parents still maintained it was our intepretation and that infant baptism was good enough.
I started to get a bit concerned when my mother started praying to Mary, Queen of Heaven. But having read Jeremiah 44:17-15 and 7:18, this is the Queen of Heaven the catholics are refering to. A pagan god, who they made offerings of wine and bread shaped loaves in her image. As with many parent-child relationships, there is a fine line between being wise and being a smart-alec depending on where you're standing.
Sadly, although they said they wanted to get baptised, when the time came they rejected not me, but God. They both died a few years later, my mother in July 2020 and my father in February 2021.
Society has been drawn into thinking a safe place is about equality. But in reality, it's become "You cannot say anything about me, but I can criticise you", I can have free speech, but you can't and no recriminations, no cancel culture for me, but for thee. The naysayers need to watch Charlie Kirk for a couple of hours before they make inflammatory comments.
To survive now and In eternity, the narrative must change. We must recognise who our enemy is and why he would want to undermine us. The left wants abortion, BLM, Defund the police, DEI, open borders, and so on. Do not be misled, there is a framework to all this, it's not random.
A high proportion of people want answers. Well, there's the Bible, the Internet, and baptism of course. But there is an order God expects us to follow. We are expected to read, learn, and study, That's why the Bible is set in writing. This is not like the film Johnny Mnemonic and Keanu Reeves when he could stick a USB into the back of his head and download information.
There are many detractors who want to criticise God and us believers, calling us nuts for praying and talking to a sky daddy. However, when referring back to Brandon Peterson - YouTube Channel Truth is Christ and his research work, it is undeniable and indisputable that the Bible could not have been written or planned by man. I've studied, written and watched hours of videos to learn the significance of the numerical sequences.
It would be very easy to say just believe in Jesus is Lord, get baptised because God made us in his image not Satan and so just get with the programme.
But life doesn't work that way. The Bible says many have called, but few are chosen. I like the analogy that heavens got the strictest border policy ever. No one gets a free pass into heaven. Billionaire or otherwise.
Back to Charlie Kirk. Over the past few weeks, I've seen a great deal of press saying the narrative is false, The kid didn't kill him, everyone's behaviour seemed staged, and so on. My take when things happen like, is to leave them to it. Charlie Kirk died for speaking out about what he believed in, be it about the Jews, Hamas, Transgenders, the right to exist i.e., abortion, and what it means to be a believer, following the precepts in the Bible and so on.
Understanding what the Bible says is crucial. No one gets to the Father except through the Son (John 14:6). No one. If someone, anyone does not believe Jesus is the son of God, they are classified as anti-Christ and there are many. Reference 1 John 2:18.
This leads on to the point about blindly blessing Jews and Israel, who (apart from Messianic Jews) are now and have always been Antichrist. It means the individual has not read nor understood the Bible. Judas was a Jew, he betrayed Jesus, he was given over to Satan. And his insides erupted, dead.
Multiple times Jesus refers to people's end, being worse than that of those who suffered in Sodom and Gamora, Therefore it's a contradiction to say that Jews get a free pass.
As Cliffe Knetchle said on YouTube, a thug is a thug. The Bible says an anti-Christ is an anti-Christ. So it doesn't matter who believes it, you either are for Jesus or against. Which brings me background to the big picture. We all have to content with good and evil. There is no fence to sit on about God or Satan. And if you thought there was, like I said earlier, Satan owns the fence.
Understanding Satan’s objective is to kill, steal and destroy, and the fact that Satan runs everything in the world, one must not be surprised when we hear and see so many competing antagonists. The bible illustrates Satan telling Jesus all these kingdoms are mine to give (Luke 4:6), replace kingdoms with the word 'government'. Satan has always run everything on the earth, ever since Adam and Eve. Once Satan was cast out of heaven, where do people think he went. After Eve, he got Cain to kill Able, the rest is history!
Throughout Jesus' time on earth, Jesus referred to the Jews as being from the synagogue of Satan. And nothing's changed. Very few are direct descendants of the 12 tribes, as most are descendants of the Khazars who originated in Eastern Europe and converted to Judaism back in 8th century.
There are many aspects of our current life that are very confusing and questionable, However, our collective position as believers means we can observe from the perspective of being in the world and not being of the world.
Over the course of this blog, I share what we're doing, and what i/we think about certain current events, my work, Liz's job and so on. As believers, we should know whats going on, and also to have a sounding board or, dare I say, an opinion, from someone who believes the same say.
