Promise

Holy Spirit lives in you, so you don't need anyone to teach you what is true, for the Holy Spirit teaches you everything you need to know and what he teaches is true.

Command

You must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning (2:24)

See our very much he loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are!

Application

To know I am grounded in God first. As long as everything starts with him and not with me, all will be well. God is at the roof of all I am. He is my DNA, not anything said or done to me by the enemy will affect me because I know I have won, because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning, I am writing to you who are young in faith because you have won your battle with the evil one.

God's message:

You have identity and belonging in me, God, I and your family, your protection, the God who loves you. I will not forsake you.
