The LGBTQI Agenda: Controversies, Concerns, and Cultural Shifts

The rise of LGBTQI rights and visibility over the past few decades has led to significant cultural and societal changes. While many view these developments as progress towards equality and acceptance, others raise concerns about the implications for traditional values, especially regarding the influence on children and family structures.

We explore these topics, examining the impact of LGBTQI issues on events like the 2024 Olympic Games, the influence of occult symbolism, the transgender movement, and the broader societal shifts that are eroding family ties.

From a worldly perspective, putting faith in Jesus to one side as many do, being gay is now not a problem, in fact it is celebrated, however, when a shift in culture demands others should comply, then it becomes a problem.  The saying “you do you and I’ll do me” becomes of nil affect, and the minority start to dictate to the majority, it is destined to cause problems

The 2024 Olympic Games: A Platform for LGBTQI Visibility?

The Olympic Games have long been a global stage for showcasing the best of human athleticism and sportsmanship. However, recent years have seen the Olympics also become a platform for social and political issues, including LGBTQI rights.

Increasing LGBTQI Representation

  • Athlete Activism: The inclusion and visibility of LGBTQI athletes have grown significantly in recent years. The 2024 Olympic Games continued this trend, with more athletes openly identifying as LGBTQI and advocating for related causes.
  • Controversy and Backlash: While increased representation is celebrated by many, it has also sparked controversy. Critics argue that the focus on LGBTQI issues can overshadow the sports themselves and that the Olympics should remain apolitical. Others express deep concern about the inclusion of transgender athletes, particularly in gender-segregated sports, citing fairness and competitive integrity.  Identifying as a woman does not change bone or muscle structure, DNA or chromosomes, ultimately, making the Games unfair.  But then that’s the objective!

As Above, So Below: Occult Symbolism and Its Influence on Children

The phrase "As Above, So Below" is a key concept in Hermeticism and other occult traditions, symbolising the connection between the spiritual and physical worlds. Some theories suggest that this and other occult symbols are being subtly introduced into mainstream culture, including through LGBTQI movements, to influence children and society.

The Connection to Satanism

  • Occult Imagery in Pop Culture: There are claims that occult symbols, including "As Above, So Below," are increasingly appearing in popular media, sometimes in contexts related to LGBTQI themes. Critics argue that this is part of a broader agenda to normalise occult practices and beliefs, especially among younger audiences.
  • Impact on Children: The concern is that exposure to these symbols, coupled with the promotion of LGBTQI identities, could lead to a spiritual or moral shift in society, particularly affecting children who are seen as impressionable and vulnerable to such influences.

The Transgender Agenda: From Children to Adults

The transgender movement has gained significant visibility, advocating for the rights of individuals to express and transition to their identified gender. However, the inclusion of children in this movement has sparked heated debates.

Transgender Rights and the Impact on Youth

  • Medical and Social Transitioning: Advocates for transgender rights support allowing children to socially and medically transition at a young age, arguing that it is essential for their mental health and well-being. This includes the use of puberty blockers, hormone treatments, and in some cases, surgeries.
  • Criticism and Ethical Concerns: Opponents argue, and I agree, that children are too young to make such life-altering decisions and that there are risks associated with medical interventions at an early age. Some also believe that the increasing visibility of transgender identities is leading to social pressure on children to question their gender, even in cases where it might not have otherwise been an issue.

Forcing LGBTQ on Children: Education and Cultural Influence

The inclusion of LGBTQI topics in education and children's media has become a focal point of controversy, with debates over how much influence these issues should have on young audiences.

LGBTQI Representation in Schools and Media

  • Educational Curriculum: Many schools have introduced LGBTQI-inclusive curricula, covering topics such as diverse family structures, gender identity, and sexual orientation. Proponents argue that this fosters an inclusive environment and reduces bullying.
  • Parental Concerns: Some parents and advocacy groups believe that LGBTQI topics are being introduced to children at too young an age, without adequate parental consent or involvement. They argue that this can confuse children and undermine parental authority over their children's moral and ethical upbringing.

Erasing Family Ties: The Decline of Traditional Family Structures

One of the most significant concerns among critics of the LGBTQI movement is the erosion of traditional family values. They argue that the promotion of diverse family structures, coupled with the push for individual identity over collective family identity, leads to the weakening of family bonds.

The Shift Away from Traditional Families

  • Redefining Family: The traditional family structure—typically defined as a heterosexual couple raising biological children—is increasingly being redefined to include a variety of forms, such as same-sex couples, single-parent families, and blended families. While this reflects the reality of modern society, it has led to the devaluation of traditional roles and responsibilities.
  • Impact on Society: Critics argue that strong family ties are essential for societal stability and that weakening these ties has led to broader social issues, including increased isolation, mental health challenges, and a decline in community cohesion.

Conclusion

The rise of LGBTQI visibility and rights has brought about significant cultural and societal changes, many of which are still being debated and understood. While these changes represent progress for some, they also raise concerns about the impact on traditional values, particularly regarding children and family structures. As society continues to evolve, it is crucial to engage in open, respectful dialogue about these issues, recognising the diverse perspectives that shape our world.

That being said, we must understand who and what is influencing these changes.  If someone is literally ‘of the world’ they can and do anything they please, and as long as it is not criminal we should leave them to it.  If someone identifies as a cat, a man or a woman, that’s their decision, or so they think.

There are two forces in this world, one for good and one for evil.  The good ‘side’ has provided mankind with a guidebook called the Bible, which is provable as the Word of God.  Those who follow the good side will adhere to the tenets and precepts in that book. The book identifies a man and a woman, who, if they choose, come together, get married, procreate and so the world continues.  In addition, there is every necessary guide to live according to God’s will.

On the other hand, there are those who have rejected this ‘book’ at one level or another and choose to ‘do what thou wilt’, a saying provided by Anton Levey, a recognised Satan worshipper.   An indeed most do.

This is not a complex issue.  If you don’t believe in God, you can do what you like as you do not believe there is any form of punishment for rejecting Him as you don’t believe He exists in the first place.

Where this movement becomes tricky is when it tries to impose this belief on others.  There’s one thing allowing someone to live their lives, as in “you do you and I’ll do me” It becomes a very different matter, to the extent of the LGBTQ movement saying if you don’t agree with me, you’re in the wrong.

God does not split hairs!  No one gets to say, “I agree with some of the Bible, but not all of it”.  You’re either all in or you’re not.  This is why Jesus says in the Bible at judgement, “Get away from me I never knew you”.

I disagree with Bible believers campaigning against LGBTQ, my stance is to leave them to it.  Some will grow out of it; some will change, and some won’t.  That’s how life is.  Many are called, but few are chosen.  The best we can do as believers is to be available to communicate our faith and how and why we have arrived at our position and decision to be a believer in Jesus.  Throwing a hissy-fit and screaming at a gay son, daughter or friend and demanding they change, will not have any affect.  They know ‘what’ you are as a believer and can come back to you when they feel they’re ready.
